After learning the basic strokes of calligraphy and knowing how to form letters, you may want to explore variety of modern calligraphy styles.

This worksheet accompanies my workshop hosted by MUJI Canada where I go through the different styles of modern calligraphy.

You will need:

• Download and print this worksheet

• Any fine-point writing instrument (pen, pencil, marker)

• Eraser

• Paper

By the end of the workshop you will know:

• Traditional vs. modern calligraphy

• Style 1: Horizontally extended strokes

• Style 2: Bouncy strokes

• Style 3: Exaggerated loops and ovals

• Style 4: Overlapping strokes

• Style 5: Disconnecting letters
