What’s calligraphy engraving?
Calligraphy engraving is done by a calligrapher etching onto surfaces like glass, metal or stone using a portable rotary drill. It’s not the same as done by machine engraving. The artist can etch a name a lot faster than a machine as an artist doesn’t require a long time to calibrate like machine engraving. Here’s a video sample and you can see how quick it is. It takes about less than 1 minute per name. And it lasts forever!
What is bottle painting?
Bottle painting is the process of turning any product into a piece of art. The artist would compose speed painting in Impressionist style. An example would be a candle jar or perfume with paintings of florals and leaves around the label or the back of the bottle. The artist use high quality paint with a breezy dry time. The turnaround is about 5-15 minutes per painting depending on the complexity of the request.
Can you do both?
Yes absolutely! I am a trained calligrapher in Copperplate, Spencerian, and Modern script. I have been doing calligraphy & engraving at events for 4 years now with amazing brands. I also teach hand engraving for calligraphers with students all over the world so I am very knowledgable with engraving process. I have also been painting for over 2 decades. With my impressionist painting style, I can transform anything into a piece of art. When a product is personalized by hand engraved calligraphy, it is more beautiful than being done by a machine. To elevate the experience, your guests can also watch me paint the bottles! I love interacting and entertaining the guests with my artistic skills. The guests can take home the personalized and painted items!
