Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of bringing a unique, interactive element to Vanessa and Logan’s stunning wedding day as their live guest illustrator. Live Sketching in the East Terrace & The Library

Every wedding has its own rhythm, and Casa Loma provided the perfect backdrop for a seamless live illustration experience.

  • Cocktail Hour in the East Terrace: Right after Vanessa and Logan said "I do," guests headed to the sunlit East Terrace for drinks and appetizers. I was stationed outside where guests could spot me right away. The fashion at this wedding was next-level—chic gowns, tailored suits, and incredible personal style made every single guest a joy to sketch.

  • Dinner Reception in the Library: As the sun set and guests moved inside for dinner, I relocated my setup to the historic Library. Continuing to draw during dinner gave guests a fun activity to visit between courses, creating a lively buzz throughout the room.

Live illustration doubles as both engaging event entertainment and a deeply personal keepsake. Guests love watching their likenesses come to life on paper in just a few minutes, taking home a custom piece of art to remember your special day forever.

A Special After-the-Wedding Studio Piece for the Bride & Groom

While live guest sketches are quick and energetic, I also love creating something extra special for the newlyweds. Since wedding days move so fast for the bride and groom, I created a highly detailed, full-color fashion illustration of Vanessa and Logan in their wedding attire after the event in my studio.

Once completed, I carefully packaged and mailed this bespoke portrait straight to their doorstep—a lasting heirloom from their Casa Loma celebration.
